What you’ll need:
- large pot
- 1 tablespoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 4″ (approximately) piece of aluminum foil
- tongs or something similar to get the silver in and out of boiling water

You can see the difference, on the left is the tarnished half on the right is the clean half. I still have to wipe down with a clean cloth to get the baking soda and salt off.the other half for 3 minutes
The end result, I am pretty happy with how they turned out with very little effort on my part and not having to purchase anything extra. So that was a plus as well.
I used this to clean a few vintage brooches as well and they turned out fantastic, so simple and easy and will not damage the integrity of the piece.
