After a week of ups and downs, I have finally come to a conclusion about many people. This is just a generalization of many people not all but many. I have found that many woman who say they are educated about pregnancy and birth are truly not educated what so ever and it is very sad. I saw a post on facebook about a woman who said that every woman should be induced (I am correcting her spelling because it awful) because being over due hurts your baby in her "educated" opinion. And that she doesn't know a single woman who has never not used pitocin to help labor along. Her statement makes me sad, because birth is a beautiful experience that doesn't need to helped along with any type of medicine, especially pitocin which causes contractions to be more intense, painful and not getting a break between the contractions as you do when you are all natural.
I should have asked her if her educated opinion was after reading 'What to Expect, When You are Expecting' a book that doesn't educate woman on birth really.
